Detail of woman’s dress in green and pink silk woven with a pattern of small pink roses and flowers over larger muted pink stylized foliage against a green background. Bodice with high round neckline, pleated in v- shape from back of shoulder to centre-front edged with black braid and beads, twelve toggles down centre front, fastening centre front and back with hooks and eyes. Three-quarter length sleeves, flared at cuff, trimmed with black braid, lace and beads. Skirt, full-length, pleated into waist. Lined with cotton. Probably worn by Lilias Reid or her younger sister Elizabeth Reid.
